Catherine J. Smith Gallery Collection, 1991-1994

The Catherine J. Smith Gallery is located in Farthing Auditorium, on the campus of Appalachian State University. It hosts both original and traveling art exhibitions. This collection contains correspondence and other material regarding the organization of exhibitions.

Western North Carolina Library Network Records, 1987-1994

The Western North Carolina Library Network (WNCLN) is composed of the libraries of Appalachian State University, the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and Western Carolina University. The records of WNCLN contain email correspondence, data files on disk and data cartridge and a listing of WNCLN periodicals, 1987-1994.

University Library Records, 1905-2011

The Carol Grotnes Belk Library and Information Commons was dedicated and opened in September 2005 and features a five floor space with nearly a million bound volumes, public computer space, digital media studio, group study rooms, the University Writing Center and Special Collections.

University Archives Records, 1903-2008

The Univesity Archives was founded in 1981 to maintain records of the University that have permanent historical value. This collection consists of CDs containing the master TIFF files from the Appalachiain State University Historical Photographs Digitization Project as well as information on the Appalachian Consortium and personnel files from the University Archives.

Nicholas Erneston Music Library Records, 1972-1997

The Nicholas Erneston Music Library is a branch of the Belk Library and Information Commons, whose materials are located within the Broyhill Music Center and with Special Collections at Belk Library. The Nicholas Erneston Music Library Records contain director's and miscellaneous files dating 1972-1997.

Media Services Records, 1974-1988

Media Services at Appalachian State University provides services, equipment and materials, made available to university-affiliated persons engaged in instructional and co-curricular programs officially sponsored by ASU. The records of Media Services include administrative files and staff photographs, as well as the audio and video recording of a 2003 concert.
