This Cloudland Park Club collection of papers speaks of the Park that existed on Lookout Mountain in Cloudland, Georgia in the early to mid-1920s. A map of the subdivision and four descriptive postcards, as well as other information, are included. Materials are fragile, but in fair condition

Description for the postcards:

This is a "mountain reservation of several hundred acres at an altitude of 2,100 feet, where a number of families have their summer homes and through which flows a beautiful stream alive with trout. Located two miles from Menlo, Georgia, on Tenneessee, Georgia and Alabama Railroad, and eight and a half miles from Valley Head, Alabama on the Alabama Great Southern Railroad.

"A perfect pike road with government aid is being built from Georgia-Alabama state line passing through Cloudland to Summerville, Georgia, a distance of twelve miles, which is on the Dixie Highway. Ledbetter Brothers, Managing Directors, Cloudland, Georgia."

Papers concerning the Cloudland Park on Lookout Mountain Subdivision and Club, dated 1921-1925

This collection contains an annual letter about the Cloudland Park, a map of Cloudland Park on Lookout Mountain Subdivision, a letter to G.W. Potter from W.T. Ledbetter that talks about the continued acquaintance with Cloudland Park Club.

There are four Postcards for Cloudland Park Club, and a booklet of Cloudland Park’s “Nature’s Roof Garden. Materials are dated between 1921 and 1925.
