This is a "mountain reservation of several hundred acres at an altitude of 2,100 feet, where a number of families have their summer homes and through which flows a beautiful stream alive with trout. Located two miles from Menlo, Georgia, on Tenneessee, Georgia and Alabama Railroad, and eight and a half miles from Valley Head, Alabama on the Alabama Great Southern Railroad.
"A perfect pike road with government aid is being built from Georgia-Alabama state line passing through Cloudland to Summerville, Georgia, a distance of twelve miles, which is on the Dixie Highway. Ledbetter Brothers, Managing Directors, Cloudland, Georgia."
