Abstract:

This collection consists of a one-page handwritten letter from a member of the Jones Family Gospel Singers from Middlesex, North Carolina to Mr. Bare of Vilas, North Carolina.

Biographical/Historical Note

Little is known about the Jones family, including the first name of Mr. Jones. In the letter, Mr. Jones lists his wife as Clara and his son and daughter-in-law as Darryl and Renee. Mr. Jones and his family are from Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains a handwritten letter from a member of the Jones Family Gospel Singers to a Mr. Bare of Vilas, North Carolina, and states cassettes tapes were exchanged. The Jones Family: Old Time Religion cassette tape was cataloged and placed in Special Collections. Mr. Jones also lists his four grandchildren. A photograph was also mentioned but was not found.
