Scope and Contents

The Shore Family Papers contains photocopies of 14 letters between Charlie Shore and his wife. His letters talk about working conditions, though it is never clear from his letters where he works or what he does, only that he works in High Point, NC and his wife lives in Tobaccoville, NC. His wife's letters discuss conditions at home and her daily work activities. There is also a Shore family genealogy, by Marvin Shore, which also has a short history about the Moravians.
