According to text in front of book, this volume of transactions between 1865 and 1868 shows 40 transactions in petroleum sales, 18 in whiskey sales, 8 in beer sales, and 6 in tobacco sales. Mentioned in it are Mill Creek Oil Company, J.G. & J.M. Staunton, Joseph Keifer of Charleston, Woodford White of Shrewsbury, and Joseph Lindner of Charleston. Cities are probably in West Virginia.
