Biographical/Historical Note

Wiley Benjamin Holsclaw of Caldwell County, North Carolina was born on May 28, 1875 and died on April 29, 1954. Elizabeth Norris Holsclaw, Wiley's wife, was born January 1, 1895 and died August 6, 1932. The family Bible passed from Wiley and Elizabeth to R.B. Holsclaw Sr.

Scope and Contents

This collection is a copy of the family history of Holsclaws, Browns, Norrises, and Greens, from several counties in North Carolina. Dates include 1756 to 1920, along with a brief record of military service of John Green in 1781. The copies include pages from the family Bible.
