Biographical/Historical Note

Miss Ellwood Anderson lived in Abingdon, Virginia before her marriage, as did C.F. Hawkins. After their marriage, their address was still Abingdon, and C.F. traveled for a living, writing once from Columbus, Ohio.

Twenty letters, some with accompanying envelopes, to Miss Ellwood Anderson or to Mrs. C.F. Hawkins of Abingdon, Virginia, mostly from Mr. C. Frank Hawkins. They appear to love letters between the two.
