Biographical/Historical Note

Located in New Market, Virginia on US Highway 11, since 1920, the tourist attraction Endless Caverns has thrilled visitors with a spectacular display of formations presented in their natural coloring. Many have searched and explored these caverns over the years, but thus far, no end has been found. Over five miles of caverns have been mapped at the present. Guided tours are provided, highlighting the geology and history of the cave.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of one Souvenir Folder of Endless Caverns in New Market, Virginia and its surrounding facilities, including the entrance house, campground, and lodge, from 1929. A map is printed on the inside cover of the folder. The folder is addressed to Mrs. V. H. Knopp of Charleston, West Virginia and postmarked May 20, 1929.
