Beatrice Adams Harris was born September 1, 1900 in North Carolina. She grew up near Cool Springs, located in Wilkes County, North Carolina. Her earliest memories began in 1906, with her recollection of the shaking and trembling of the earth due to the San Franscisco earthquake. She speaks also of her school days, her husband and children, and most especially, her poetry.

This collection consists of a typed, three-page manuscript, Garnered Memories by Beatrice Adams Harris. She talks about her childhood memories from about 1906 to current time of 1990, growing up near Cool Springs, North Carolina, her husband, Rutherford Conrad Harris, her children, her poetry, and her gardening.
