George L. Berry: A Pathfinder

Scope: 

George L. Berry, president of the International Printing Pressmen and Assistants’ Union (IPPAU) for 41 years, led a distinguished career and life. Included in this pathfinder are sources that provide insight and clues into his life, especially his union career, his political career, and topics related to Pressmen’s Home in Hawkins County , Tennessee . This was Berry ’s self-sufficient community that housed an international printer’s technical school, sanitarium, church, hotel, and other buildings.
