This guide includes both primary and secondary source resources about business, primarily in the Appalachian region. Records and papers relating to various businesses are listed below.  Manuscripts must be used in the Dougherty Reading Room. Rollin Chemical Company Ledger is a bound ledger of typed copies of land surveys and land transfers within southern Charleston, West Virginia dating from the late eighteenth century to the early twentieth century. Leo Loeb, an attorney, created the ledger to prove the Rollin Chemical Company, Inc. had a clear title to the land.
