Manuscript Collections

William Leonard Eury Papers include programs, papers, and photographs collected by Apppalachian State University Librarian Leonard Eury. W.L. Eury was the librarian from 1946 to 1970.

The collection contains correspondence about several publications and reviews by William S. Powell for journals, requests for research materials, correspondence with J. Timothy Cole, Mattie Erma Parker, and Mrs. Yandle, and an edited article from The North Carolina Index.

This collection is made up of three letters dated April 1861 to July 1861, from Cornelius Cain to Celia Stoneman, one from Stantford Stoneman to sister Celia, and one from Stantford to father William. They are good to delicate condition.
