Manuscript Collections

The Verdola Keller Watson Manuscript is Verdola Keller Watson's typewritten manuscript of "Christmas in Old Salem, North Carolina, 1968" and "I Will Lift Mine Eyes". The first story is about the Leighbach family of the Moravian community in Old Salem, North Carolina and the second about the same Leighbach family of the University Hill community of an unspecified state. Presumably, "I Will Lift Mine Eyes" describes Watauga County's Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis communities.
