Manuscript Collections

The Reverend Doctor Goodridge Wilson Papers is a collection of Dr. Wilson's correspondence and research of several Virginia counties' history, along with a bibliography of his library and several black and white photos of the area and local people.

This collection is comprised of brochures and papers describing the Second Union of the Melungeons at Clinch Valley College, Wise, Virginia on July 9-12, 1998. Also included are four black & white maps of Lee, Scott and Wise Counties plus a map of Southwest Virginia.

The Town of Boone, North Carolina Records consists of Board meeting minutes and transactions, decisions, maps, reports, photographs and digital photographs, and several court case transcripts and exhibits from citizens and/or businesses in the town limits of Boone, North Carolina, which have transpired since Dr. Fred Hay has been a member of the Board of Adjustments.
