Manuscript Collections

The Department of Nursing, housed within the College of Health Sciences, provides nursing education to students enrolled in the Prelicensure BSN and the RN-BSN programs. The Department of Nursing Records contain the self-study report on Appalachian State University's Department of Nursing for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The Dr. R.E. Fortune Papers is a set of records, correspondence, receipts, estate papers, and related materials that deal with Dr. Fortune's medical practice and personal estate in Damascus, Virginia in the 1930s.
