The Reverend Doctor Goodridge Wilson Papers is a collection of Dr. Wilson's correspondence and research of several Virginia counties' history, along with a bibliography of his library and several black and white photos of the area and local people.

Reverend Reggie Longcrier Collection of Papers consist of three documents describing Hickory, North Carolina-based church, Exodus Missionary Outreach Church, and the pastor's pro-gay marriage question in the 2007 CNN-You Tube Democratic Presidential debate. This collection provides an alternative view of Black Appalachian churches as homophobic.

The Richard Humphrey Audiocassettes and Transcriptions includes audiocassettes of a lecture Humphrey gave to Carl Ross' history course in 1988 along with its transcriptions, typed and in longhand. The collection also contains an audiocassette of Cratis Williams' Memorial Service and a cassette of Pat Morgan.
