Welcome to Angela Ocuto Howell, Manuscripts and Archives Processor

The Special Collections Research Center at Appalachian State University bids a hearty welcome to the most recent addition to our team, Manuscripts and Archives Processor Angela Ocuto Howell.

Angela completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology here at Appalachian State University. 

She is currently in the M.L.I.S. (Master of Library and Information Science) degree program at UNC-Greensboro. She is focusing her degree in special collections, archives, and digital libraries.

Before beginning the position of Manuscripts and Archives Processor, Angela worked as a Night and Evening Services Supervisor on the Learning and Research Services team at the Belk Library.

She started in libraries at the Ashe County Public Library as a Circulation Assistant, then as the Outreach Services Specialist.
